Arbing Equipment Ltd, founded in June 1965 by Bill Arbing as a International Harvester dealership, has been steadily growing ever since. The business is now run by Pam Arbing Northrup, Bill's daughter. In the spring of 2009, we finished renovations on our newly expanded facility, adding approx. 3000 square feet to the total building, hiring 2 additional mechanics, expanding all areas in the building, sales service, and parts. we also changed the look of the front of the building to facilitate an outside display area.
in November 2010, Bill Arbing, the founder of Arbing Equipment, passed away knowing that his business was in good hands to meet the challenges of the future.
2011 rolled in with a vengence showing Maritimers that we can still have an old fashioned winter. Changes at Arbing Equipment are that we added the Mahindra tractor line, giving us a wider selection of compact and smaller tractors to offer our customers.
Mahindra is located in India and is the largest tractor manufacture in the world, gradually introducing the line into Canada with warhouses for tractors and parts both in Canada.
We would like to welcome Tina Doyle to the Arbing Equipment staff. She will be one of the charming voices that will be answering the phone and working in our accounting department.
